Menos MBA y más MBI, eso es lo que, según Jim Carroll - el paradigma del gurú futurista y cachondo - necesitan hoy las empresas, el mundo de los negocios en general. Y en su sitio web, aparte de un puñado de decálogos al uso, encontramos "The MBI Manifesto" - al que llego a través del blog de Fast Company - en el que enumera los lementos de uno de esos Master of Business Imagination:

- lives for the opportunity to have ideas challenged and debated
- instead of saying "it won't work," asks the question, "how can we make it work?
No tengo palabras... ¿Por qué son siempre anglosajones? Porque claro, estas cosas las cuentas en castellano antigua y la gente se parte el pecho; pero, sin embargo, se las cuenta un "gurú" anglosajón con el marchamo corporativo correspondiente y lo ponen todo perdido... Es una pena que la gente siga acudiendo a los Oráculos y a los libros de autoengaño evitando pensar por si mismos un poquito... Así están los puestos de libros de "Management" en los aeropuertos internacionales.
