"Blogging needs to be as ubiquitous as email. You don't differentiate email between business and personal?you just do email. The thing about blogging is that it needs to be just blogging [...] I want a day when I have one weblog and I can just post whatever I want to post in that one weblog and I don't have to think of how to categorize it. I want it to be filtered on the reader's end [...] Personal websites died because they were too hard to update. RSS is hugely important. Being able to know that we have updated was not possible with websites. To be able to comment, to affect a communications loop, this is how weblogs have gone beyond the old personal and even corporate websites [...] Ubiquity is important?using blogs to spread communication, to be able to have a tool to allow people to communicate?having the ability to write and publish to certain particular groups is going to be very important."
