Verisign's Voice

The name of this company is usually associated with domain name registrations and e-commerce as a certification authority, but their communications business is less well known. The telecom's services unit is responsible for one third of the company's third quarter revenue of US$325 million.

This unit has launched a new service in October. It's intended to create a "neutral switchboard" for VoIP services, similar to the one they are offering to cell-phone companies.
