More on OpenSource

M$ has just announced its third contribution to SorceForge; In this case it has been the turn of FlexWiki, the software they were running the wikis from over at Channel 9.

Is this the same strategy that is using the big blue? I'm not sure what the intentions of M$ could be but, as other coleagues do, I think that you need more than a piece of your code given for free for talking about an OpenSource initiative.

On the other hand, it's worth considering the momentum that are gaining this WikiWiki tools in the corporate environment. I think this kind of collaborating tools - alog with the blogs - are the best examples of the social software emergence. We´ll see in the near future how the social networking-based tools and techniques change the way we work and a new corporate landscape surge along with new rules and conventions, making sense for that multisided concept of the real-time enterprise, coined by Gartner Group.
