No 'Next Big Thing' for Technology? Think Again.

Here you are a brief column, authored by the Chief Scientist at Accenture TechLabs, extracted directly from the Consultant's Briefing Section on CIO Magazine:

'Whenever I read pronouncements suggesting that there is "no big thing on the horizon" or that information technology has run its course as a source of economic energy and innovation, I am reminded of Einstein's definition of insanity: "Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Perhaps there's a corollary when it comes to business growth: I would define thick as "selling the same product to the same customer over and over again and expecting to dramatically grow your business." '

Moral: Innovation is everywhere; it's not only a question of having the ultimate technology.
