The future of IP communications?

Jeff Pulver, the founder of Free World Dialup network, is now promoting a new product that is supposed to blend Social Networking, Instant Messaging and VoIP capabilities... It's the pulver.Communicator.

I think it's interesting as a signal of the future convergence of IP services over the network, based on real-time functionalities and presence services.
